GSG ROBOTS

Since 2012, the GSG Robots are an active and successfull FLL-Team

The team, which currently consists of 9 members, has been taking part in the competition for twelve years and has been able to continuously improve its performance over time. They reached their peak in 2017 when they took part in the OEC in Denmark, where they even managed to win a trophy. They also managed to qualify for the OSC in Brazil in 2020. After this was cancelled, they were able to qualify again for the first live season after the 2022 pandemic and thus make their anniversary season perfect.

In addition to working on the actual tasks of the FLL, the team not only likes to spend time together, but also seeks contact with other teams. To this end, they have had an open source project since 2017, a YouTube, Twitter and Instagram account and are networked with other teams in international Whatsapp groups.

The team is a school working group that is financed exclusively by donations and is coached by the two teachers Schön and Bechtel. Both became aware of the FLL independently of each other and founded the AG at the suggestion of students and parents. The members have changed from year to year since then, since 2023 they're in their third generation.
